ANDRITZ all set to supply a chip washing and pressurized refining system to Nile Wood, Egypt

International technology Group ANDRITZ has recently received an order in cooperation with Dieffenbacher to supply a comprehensive MDF plant, as well as a chip washing and pressurized refining system, to Nile Wood S.A.E, which is a subsidiary of Egypt Kuwait Holding (EKH), for their greenfield site in Sadat City, Egypt.
The start-up of the new equipment is planned before the end of 2021.
The centrepiece of the MDF production line will include the chip washing and pressurized refining system, together with a proven 54-1CP refiner with a capacity of up to 20 tons per hour. The new equipment will help process fast-growing trees with low moisture content as raw material. The suitable technological solution for this particular type of plant anticipated was the main reason for awarding the contract to ANDRITZ.
With this recent order, ANDRITZ is consolidation its foremost position in the supply of preparation systems for MDF plants and again representing its extensive experience in managing special raw materials.
