A worldwide provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, MiX Telematics, declared that it will give a comprehensive telematics solution to Lalgy Transports in order to streamline logistics over its 730 vehicle fleet. Lalgy Transports functions throughout the Mozambique territory and surrounding countries.
In the 1980s Lalgy group was established and is headquartered in Matola in the Maputo Province. In addition to transportation, truck sales, civil construction and stone quarry mining is done by the company.
The Group has a different fleet, containing 300 super-link side tippers, more than 200 flat-deck trucks, also fuel tankers and low-bed trailers to transport irregular cargo. The organization can transport different goods of different sizes and types, from construction equipment to food products, frequently remote regions.
