With a 507 kW rooftop-canopy solar PV power plant at Ghana’s National Information Technology Agency (NITA) Park in Accra, JA Solar, a world leader in the PV sector, is promoting clean energy. In order to fulfill the demands of a demanding tropical climate that is marked by high temperatures, heavy rainfall, and strong UV radiation, the NITA PV project produces 696,000 kWh of electricity yearly.
