According to Dereje Gashaw deputy general manager of K2N, the final design of the building will be ready in about 7 months after which construction work will commence with the appointment of a contractor.
The developer of the building, QIB ODA Real Estate, is a joint venture that includes Oromia Insurance and Company Oromia International Bank among several individuals.
The mixed use complex will house offices, apartments as well as entertainment and leisure facilities. It is scheduled to be completed in 5 years at an estimated cost of about US$ 70 million. The tower building along with parking spaces is being built on 2,795 square metre plot of land granted by Goma Kuteba Plc, will have a total floor space of 38,000 square meters and a height of 110 metres. This will notably be the 10th tallest building in Ethiopia.
