According to KEFI Gold and Copper PLC, a mining exploration and development company, the open-pit Tulu Kapi project in Ethiopia will begin construction by 2023, with production beginning in 2025.
The equity development capital and 320 million USD were both obtained by KEFI Gold and Copper PLC. Additionally, they have purchased the project’s crucial permits and a 70 million USD mining fleet from the designated mining contractor. All of these together show that the project has full funding and is prepared for the board’s approval.
KEFI has moved on and submitted applications for further permits to enable them to conduct additional research in Ethiopia due to the positive potential demonstrated on this issue.
