Designed for architects, engineers, contractors, and Moroccan construction professionals, The Big 5 Construct North Africa 2017 will take place from April 25-27, 2017 at the Parc Des Expositions de l’Office des Changes, in Casablanca.
“The Big 5 Construct North Africa in Morocco will promote the long-term growth opportunities, and development of the Moroccan construction industry, along with creating new export partnerships for local Moroccan companies,” Portfolio Exhibitions Director, Andy Pert, said.
The show will host more than 120 exhibitors from 20 countries and welcome more than 4,000 visitors. Beyond the presentation of innovative products for the construction industry, the event includes 10 free certified Continuous Professional Development (DPC) workshops. They are led by experts who share their in-depth knowledge of the construction sector, says DMG Events, the show’s organizer.
“Morocco is the gateway to Africa and North Africa, which market is valued at $ 400 billion. The Moroccan market is growing by 4% annually. We want to make the Kingdom the hub that will attract all professionals in the sector to enrich their knowledge and develop distribution partnerships with Moroccan exhibitors. Also, create new export opportunities for local businesses,” added Pert.
The Big 5 holds the most recognized and influential brands portfolio of all construction industry events in the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia and Africa, adds DMG Events. Founded 37 years ago in Dubai, it brought together more than 35,600 exhibitors, 195,500 visitors, 1000 speakers and 20,000 participants during the 2016 conference. 30 Moroccan companies, supervised by Maroc Export, took part in the different editions of the Big 5 Dubai.
The Big 5 takes its name from the 5 sectors of construction namely; mechanics, electricity and plumbing, interior constructions and finishes, tools and building materials, building envelope and special constructions and machinery and vehicles.
Moroccan companies such as Mall Zellij, Chaoui Bois, Vicaima Africa, Le Comptoir and Patmas Afrique have already announced their participation in The Big 5 Construct North Africa 2017.
During the show, they will be able to meet with thousands of buyers as well as potential global partners. “The event will facilitate future regional and global distribution opportunities by welcoming construction players from around the globe, ultimately supporting Moroccan exports,” Pert commented.
