In Kenya, JAT Holdings includes JAT Paints Africa Limited.

JAT Holdings PLC, based in Sri Lanka, will formally extend to Africa in 2023, with the establishment of “JAT Paints Africa Limited” in Kenya as part of a joint venture with Mayleen Corp, a Kenya-based diversified business house.

JAT Holdings and Mayleen Corp have previously launched a number of training courses in Africa, demonstrating their continued commitment to the region and its economic development.
Following its success in South Asia, this strategic initiative is expected to improve JAT’s position as a leader in wood coatings across Africa. JAT Holdings will now be able to manufacture and distribute wood coatings and other JAT products in important markets throughout Kenya and East Africa as a result of the new relationship.

Mayleen Corp, according to company records, is a dynamic Kenya-based diversified business organisation with operations in a variety of areas. Since the beginning of the group’s operations in 2005, the company has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis from a trading organisation to a thriving and respected brand. Mayleen’s experience covers, among other things, infrastructure development, civil engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing, design and construction of powerlines, and EV public charging stations. Mayleen Corp also acts as a local gateway for international groups and companies seeking to enter the East African market via Kenya.
